(We are the) Brixham Buccaneers! copyright 2009 David Croney
I'll sing you a song of the ocean I'll
sing you a song of the sea I'll sing
you a song of a pirate And tales of piracee
We're setting sail for treasure A wonderful sight to
behold Diamonds and emeralds and pieces of silver and gold
We are the Brixham Buccaneers, Brixham Buccaneers Nothing gets in our way now, as we're singing our song We are the Brixham Buccaneers, Brixham Buccaneers There's
a fair wind a blowing, and we're sailing along!
Our Captain's a generous pirate Of grog we have plenty
to share He sees to it that we are happy Makes sure that we don't have a care
And as for the looting
and raiding We always have plenty of fun There's nothing like seeing them squirming At the sight of a
sword and a gun
We like to explore new horizons and take other boats by surprise Old Ron is up at the
lookout He does well for a man with no eyes
Our Captain he bawls out an order Makes sure that we all
toe the line But we don't mind what we're asked to do 'cos we're having a wonderful time!
