Just had a holiday with dad , 3 nights in Wix with a great day out
to Flatford mill with friends Ron and Marion, and 2 nights in Braintree, with a lot of time with Cousin Sarah and family including
a visit to Steam park at Bressingham

As\Dad is now living with pain
he saw his Dr again this week and Dr is worried about Dad's weight loss. He is now not treating Dad for ibs, says
something has changed since last year, dad is to have blood tests next Weds and an appointment with the hospita, check for
wheat intolereance and possible tube up inside to look at colon
Weds Dr Sarah Wollaston MP walked
most of the Buccaneers Way with me and a few buccaneers, she launched a new photo competition I've devised, details later!

Had a 2 night break in Harlow, visitied E
pping and Waltham Abbey. Beautiful weather on the Monday
Dad has a nasty virus, left hinm with a bad cough

Had a fall in Petrol station forecourt on Sunday, graised wrist and shoulder much better
after faith healing on MOnday . Also Sunday had meal at Honeymoon (Chinese) retsaurant with PFS colleagues, nice evening out!

a couple of nights away at Letchworth> Dad came and enjioyed the visit. Sarah and David journeyed to join us for dinner

front page spread with photo in the Brxham news and and a piece with photo in Herald Express. Both were about the new waymarked

Weds night had most enjoyable
evening out with Dad and friends Viv, Daphne, Isobel and Nicola
At the weekend we had our 3rd pirate festival,
strongly recommend you set time aside next year to come and witness our Fetsiva; - its su=tunning and I'm very proud of
it!!!!!

Walter Prendergast
(seior planning officer Torbay Council) is very excited and enthusiastic about my walks, he called in last Monday and then
walked the Buccaneers way and he is going to call in again next Monday and then walk the other walk. He thinks we can get
everything in place ready for launch on the July 14 (first summer pirate day)
We are celebrating
my birthday with 3 parties this year, Apr 20 Nigel Karen will join me at Wetherspoons, Apr 27th Dad,Daphne and Viv will
also join me at weatherspoons, and 8 May the petrol station girls and boys will meet up at the Willow tree for a carvery

buccaneers have acquired £2500 from somewhere so the Pirate Festival WILL go ahead on Apr 30- May 1. Many thanks to

for Nigel aka Captain Blood and Guts. He had a gall bladder removed last week, this week had a severe pain in stomach, ,going
to have op for hernia!

Dad and I are planning a return
visir to Wix in the first week of August. We hope to visit Cousin Sarah and Family also Ron and Marion. Possibly see David
Heidi Joe Anna and the boys if they are around. They could visit us or we could travel to Nowich for q day. Probably travel
to wix on Fri 5 Aug - Dad's birthday- and return Wed 10
Other trips we want to do this
year are to Biggleswade for the air museum and Kingfisher Way and Fleet to visit Pat again ( and hopefully meet Nicola

weds went for a day trip to London to see Crirque du Soleil production of Totem at Royal Albert Hall and Cezanne exhibition
at Somerstet House. Show was spo iled by unexplained absence to the top act - fixed trapeezeacrobats!

We were sorry to learn that Barbara's daughter Jan slipped on ice on Chruistmas Eve and
hurt her wrist. She went in for an operation this Tuesday, the dy before her birthday. We wish her well!

were so sorry to learn of Reg Heathcoat's death on Christmas Day. Reg was Dad's schoolday's chum and we spent
2 very enjoyable days wirth him and his lovely wife Mollly in Summer 2010.

I have had check ups at Doctor, Dentist and Optician and everything is running well!

Dad has seen doctor abouyt the
bruise on his thigh, been told it will hang around for 6 weeks.
Sorry to learn from cousin Sarah
that both her husband David and son Sam have been in hospital. Apparently all is now well!
My
back went on Sunday, but much better after receiving healing on Monday. I will not now be scheduled work on trolleys
at Sainsbury's except for short periods when unavoidable !

Dad took
a tumble when closing the garage door on Tuesday. Luckily I was not scheduled for work that afternoon and evening so I was
able to go to chemist and seek their advice. With 2 different medications dad was soon feeling better. He was well padded
when he fell and only hurt his wrist and thigh
Had a phone call on Tuesday from ;local newspaper
Herald Express wanting me to promote a book about pirates being sold by them on Thursday. So they came to dads to take a photo
of me in pirate gear and it was published o n Wdnesdsy!

Annette's younger son Andrew and wife Mel arrived in Brixham at 8am on Friday after a 15 hour
drive from Germany. They are staying at the Westbury GH Fri and Sat night. We had lunch together Fri and alos met up
for lunch on Sat!

2 nights in Lisbonn and 3 in Cascais. LOvely weather, very affordable and nice people

has spent much of the year doing home improvements, most of his projects are now finished. Next year he intends to attack

Dad had a fall on Tuesday whilst I was working at Sainsbury,
he hit his head on th e kitchen door and there was lot of blood! 3 paramedis arrived and he was patched up in hospital. He
came home by taxi the same evening and has been ok since.

I came back this week from a 6night trip to East England. We stayed 2 nights with Bridget at Wix and had
a whole day with Ron and Marion who took us to East Bergholt, Hadleigh, Lavenham and Sudbury,They really made it a special
day for us. Then we went to Ipswich for 2 nights the highlight being a visit to Sutton Hoo/e 2 n
On
the way to Letchworth we called in on David and Heidi in Norwich. Oliver was there and Anna and Daniel called in brief ly

developed a nasty cough and stomach and bowel upset which marred slightly our 2 night stay in Letchworth , however we enjoyed
a visits to Stevenage and Hitchen and a n afternoon viola and piano recital

from Cousin Sarah who has just moved house!

and I visited Pat Brooker this week in Fleet Hants. Pat made us very welcome and brought
us up so date on her family. She also showed us around the area. Very enjoyable!
